… if they can count that high. Check out this photo essay from Pajamas Media (HT to Maggie’s Farm). I post for you below just some of the images. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and remind my readers that not ALL public schools indoctrinate their kids into this stuff. I’ll leave my comments to myself.

WC, I am sure not all government-run schools do not engage in propaganda. Some times they do not promote anti-capitalist behavior.

Wintercow often, I think always on his blog, promotes freedom.

Therefore, not all teachers are fascist bastards, or devotees of Henry Hopkins.

Chr!st, every time I wonder if I worry about stuff like this too much, I realize that it’s not enough. Scary as hell.

And I bet the proponents of this would go out of their mind if anyone even hinted at school prayer or intelligent design and scream that they didn’t want their children indoctrinated.

My kids will stay out of govt. schools as long as I can possibly afford it.

I would almost like to be there just to grade the English signs. (I can’t do much about the Spanish ones.) Hard to believe that kids are taken from school for this.

Next time there’s a similar rally in downtown Rochester (and there are plenty), you should grab your camera and go document the similar crowds of high-school and pre-high school students screaming their little hearts out under banners of the Socialist Worker’s Party (all 10 morons who operate on the RIT campus…who strangely manage to never graduate year after year after year). It makes for a lot of entertainment.

The question is, while it is obvious to any passer-by that these sort of “rallies” represent only a tiny fraction of the student or teacher or parental body, and are almost entirely externally organized by professional agitators of the most rotundly unproductive type… nevertheless TV and newspaper crews manage to fill front-pages with stories of “rallies against budget cuts by concerned taxpayers”. Why do they manage to achieve exactly what they seek to achieve, through such cheap measures? But if 10 actual taxpayers and parents were to protest the misuse of their money, on the same square, it would only attract a blog-post somewhere at best.
