  1. At least the horoscopes are on the comics page, though they are still published daily. You can’t worry too much about what most people believe.

  2. Harry says:

This is among the dumbest, least interesting, and poorly crafted charts I can remember, ever.

  3. Harry says:

Bet that chart cost Brookings four or more man-weeks to produce, including 16 man-hours to discuss the placement of the somber colors. At least it took up their time so they would have not made a worse chart. Government people call this output. Lawyers call it work product.
    I call it

    That’s pretty funny.

Al Gore apparently has seen fit to pounce on the weather in the northeast as proof positive that the only solution for the planet is higher taxes and the transfer of billions of dollars through the UN to socialist dictatorships.

When we have a cold winter, he keeps a low profile by jetting to the Riviera.

The environmentalist-friendly pressies just keep repeating the same garbage over and over. Few of those in the polls have done any reading at all about the data and the science.

I have to say I wish it were true that we would have warm winters like this one for the rest of my life. I don’t heat my house with oil, but I’ve burned only two cords of firewood, and I’ve spent an extra $200 a month for four months on my electric bill (we have electric heat, with thermostats in every room).

I used to heat with oil, but I know it would cost me thousands per year just to do what the electric heat does.

Looks like it’s a series that might require seasonal adjusment, yes?
