I guess by asking questions about how serious the feedback loops are in climate and whether that part of the science is settled, or even better raising questions about cost-effective ways to deal with the problems a warmer planet may create, I now am told that I deserve to have my house burned down.

We know who the active denialists are – not the people who buy the lies, mind you, but the people who create the lies.  Let’s start keeping track of them now, and when the famines come, let’s make them pay.  Let’s let their houses burn.  Let’s swap their safe land for submerged islands.  Let’s force them to bear the cost of rising food prices.

They broke the climate.  Why should the rest of us have to pay for it?

But why burned? Won’t that release too much CO2? Better to just bulldoze it with an electric bulldozer. By the way, for those of you not getting the point of his article title, it refers to a government fire department allowing houses to burn, I am not sure he is aware of it. I don’t recommend burning his house down because of it.

Yes, and of course, I personally broke the climate. Read Coyote’s reply.

Global warming is bad religion, using bad science. The more light is shed on the lack of anthropogenic climate change, the more they want to burn the heretics at the stake and drown the witches.

    Wow, is that twisted.

I hope that there is enough water in WC’s Exxon pool to save his house. The fire company will need a puppy filter.

Everybody should click the Coyote link, a great piece.

Everybody agrees Rizzo is kidding about drowning puppies, right?

  4. Josh says:

Actually, I think he wants to *let* your house burn down (if it catches fire), not burn it down himself.

Obviously using an electric bulldozer on a house that’s already burning is not really the minimal cost solution, especially given the hazard pay for the bulldozer pilot.
