American women, at birth, can expect to live an average of five years longer than their male counterparts.

Of the 4,628 deaths that occurred on the job in 2012, 92% of the deaths befell men, and only 8% of the deaths were from female workers.

Men in America are 3.6 times more likely to be murdered than women.

Men in America are more than 3 times more likely to die in a car accident than women are.

The incidence rate of days away from work due to injury (non-fatal) is 20% larger for men than women.

Men are 10x more likely to find themselves in prison than women.

Women are “overrepresented in college.”

Women are “underrepresented” in the military.

We MUST MUST MUST act to correct these imbalances.

Or not. I find these pieces of information nearly useless, especially as presented.
