If this is scientific or even responsible reporting? My favorite bits include:
- Claiming that reports of melted permafrost might cause problems at the end … but nowhere in the article does it say that permafrost is melting or that ice pack is smaller THIS YEAR. In fact, it is apparently a cold winter already.
- “Nearly 40 years ago, he said, tribal elders noticed changes in the annual migrations of animals.” UMMM … this was at a time when the climate was feared to be COOLING!
- “The weather, which they could forecast three weeks in advance from animal behavior and the appearance of the sunsets, is now unpredictable.” Need I comment on this one?
