I have been trying to communicate with one of my students who is traveling in Asia right now and this is the response he was able to get through to me:

Professor Rizzo,

I apologize for not replying sooner, and for not signing up for a recitation yet.

I have been in Asia for the last 3 weeks, and its difficult to communicate because the government keeps blocking my email accounts.

As soon as I get out of Asia, I will be much more organized and respond to all of your emails in detail.

I will say this – at least it is clear what is going on over there. When it happens here, it will not be so obvious.
