Next!

And then they came for the … salt, fat and fiber eaten by the … homeless.

Richter has been collecting food from places like the Ohav Zedek synagogue and bringing it to homeless shelters for more than 20 years, but recently his donation, including a “cholent” or carrot stew, was turned away because the Bloomberg administration wants to monitor the salt, fat and fiber eaten by the homeless.

HT to Walter Olsen. Here is the last edition in the series.  Yes, I am supposed to show respect to this absurdity, in the name of civil discourse, right? Who knew it would come to this? Jack-booted thugs policing what homeless people have donated to them. Unbelievable. It sort of reminds me of the way the Western world forbids poor African countries from receiving GM foods while they starve by the thousands, and then some anti-capitalist “scholar” will blame the hunger of Africa on “capitalist” institutions like the World Bank or European Union for imposing such restrictions on them. Yuck.
