Droughts, Western Wildfires and Global Warming. Not only do “they” not even get the drought evidence fairly presented (by the way, don’t you love how the way we prove a connection is with models!) as my reading of the general science and the IPCC report not comport with the AP presentation, but not a SINGLE word mentioned about known major contributors to wildfires that swamp any link to climate change even if such a link were solid? Timber and forest management practices, while evidence is that they’re improving, are MAJOR contributors to this.
But nope. On Sunday, it’s all global warming all the time.
By the way, for fun go look at IS drought severity over time. And for fun I’d even like to see how local temperatures and ambient moisture has changed in those areas since we started wrecking the planet. Here is some actual science.
