Stories like this and this will it take before some decent writer or wonk suggests that maybe, possibly, perhaps an “optimal” solution to the global warming problem is to live with the global warming problem? It seems to me that our actions and our words are quite different. Long-time readers know of my affinity for a well-designed carbon tax. I am thinking less and less like that could ever happen.
