If I were a Congressman and had to write legislation, I would require that every single US Senator and Representative, every single employee and family member of the Big 3, every single person that distributes cars made by the Big 3, or produces parts that go into cars made by the Big 3, must only purchase and drive automobiles made by the Big 3. In fact, maybe we should make them buy a new one every 2 years.
Let’s not just go all the way … if you want to do this right … let’s just pass a law that mandates that every single automobile owner in America must purchase and drive at least one American automobile every two years. Why not? If the bailout is so vital, let’s do it right.
