My wife and I were watching TV the other night. We just upgraded our cable to include DVR services. We wanted to watch NCIS, but also wanted to check out the singing on Idol as well as catch parts of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship. All of these were happening at the same time.
After some wrestling with the controller, my wife turns to me and says something to the effect of:
I am so ticked off. If you DVR two shows at the same time, then you can’t then switch to watching a third show at the same time.
So, we were forced by the evil greedy cable company to either record two shows and miss the third, or to record one show and flip back and forth between the other two. I laughed inside for a good 30 minutes. The horror.
