The concrete used to build the Grand Coolee (sp?) dam in the Columbia River Basin was enough to build a road 4 feet wide and 4 inches thick around the earth’s equator … twice!

Remember that when someone tells you it would be impossible to build sea walls to deal with the most “catastrophic” expected rises in sea levels from melting glaciers. I don’t think constructing the dam bankrupted the country.
