First mistake: requiring every student to have a school-issued laptop. Butterflies are free! Everything is free! Whoopee! Whee, whee, whee all the way home.
Lower Merion does a good job selling the benefits of its government schools, and that’s why school taxes there are through the roof. Yes, they do have a long record of placement in the country’s top colleges and universities, like Central High and Girls’ High in Philadelphia. I guess 1984 is not on the summer reading list.
