Saw a couple signs at the public market last week over food, they said “No Chemicals.”
Some gruel is better than other gruel. I tell my yard kid to throw some weeds in the trash, but no dirt leaves the farm. Thistle roots go to the eternal landfill.
Speaking of soil, I read Monsanto is developing soil-specific Roundup-Ready seeds to increase yield for farmers not lucky to have twelve-foot deep topsoil deposited from the Ice Age.
