Of course, a woman has a right to choose what to do with her own body. Without taking a position on abortion here, does one not find it a wee-bit awkward that a woman cannot decide for herself, in NYC, to consume trans-fats sold by food purveyors? Does one not find it a wee-bit awkward claiming that “we need more research” on the safety of genetically modified foods before a woman is permitted to eat them in polite company? Odd.

The Roundup Ready soybeans have been planted and the weeds have been sprayed. We left enough broadleaf weeds behind to ensure those species will overpower and pollinate resistant strains, and we did not kill all the ground hogs. As a plus, soybeans actually leave more nitrogen in the soil than the plants consume, which would be a great idea for an African farmer.

Is WC contemplating a run for mayor of New York?
