I am sure by now that you are aware that July was the hottest month ever. And I am pretty sure you had a lot of the “consensus” use this club to beat “deniers” with.

Two simple points today.

(1) I think the U.S. average temperature for July was 3.3 degrees warmer than “normal” … The relevant question to ask is: “how hot would it have gotten had humans not caused Global Warming?”

Reading the web you would think the answer is “zero degrees” but that is very far from the truth.

(2) Did the globe “suffer” its hottest July ever?

There are many more questions, none of which require anyone to be a “denier” (as if the alarmists have any idea what that means anyway).

Update: Here is one thought on Hansen and the rising temperatures

Update #2: Coyote reminds us that actual warming has been nowhere near the warming predicted by the climate sensitivity assumptions from the IPCC

Update #3: This is priceless. A state university in California supports carbon taxes and caps … just not on itself. Why? It’s too expensive.

Did you see this? I pray it’s fake. 😉

I worry about myself when I question whether things like that are made up. I coughed out my water cup laughing. Thanks!

When you say “water cup,” I’ll assume you don’t mean water “bottle.” And hopefully your PC is not using any conflict-minerals.

    Great one, Speedmaster!

It is Richard Nixon’s fault, when he invoked year-round daylight saving time after the first Arab oil embargo.
