Similarly, true blooded school choicers (I’d argue are more oriented to the right) … should HATE the success of charter schools (to the extent they are successful). I think.
Good points. I’m not a fan of charter schools (thought I do cheer when they show up their traditional brethren). I think they’re still public/government schools albeit with a slightly longer leash. I’m also not a huge fan of educational vouchers.
Not to be an ass, but why not? I don’t know much about the reality of vouchers or charter schools (I just know the concept), so I’d like to hear what your opposition is.
