If this is scientific or even responsible reporting? My favorite bits include:

1. Claiming that reports of melted permafrost might cause problems at the end … but nowhere in the article does it say that permafrost is melting or that ice pack is smaller THIS YEAR. In fact, it is apparently a cold winter already.
2. “Nearly 40 years ago, he said, tribal elders noticed changes in the annual migrations of animals.” UMMM … this was at a time when the climate was feared to be COOLING!
3. “The weather, which they could forecast three weeks in advance from animal behavior and the appearance of the sunsets, is now unpredictable.” Need I comment on this one?
